DUTIES:

- Time on our Children's or Teen reference desks (directly helping patrons locate books, use devices and answer any questions).

- Helping librarians with programs.
- Working on various projects (such as stickering, database-related, program prep, and creating promotional materials).

The PT Circulation Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to a diverse community at our Circulation Desk. Duties include checking patrons in and out, collecting fines, answering the phone, and other tasks as needed. The ability to pay close attention to detail as well as understand and follow written and oral instructions is necessary. This is a substitute position and hours will vary from week to week. Bi-lingual language skills are a plus. Promising applicant will be trained.

The Audio Visual Aide is responsible for inspection and routine maintenance of audio visual materials. Attention to detail is required in the care of the AV material. The Audio Visual Aide will primarily work independently. On occasion the AV Aide will need to assist patrons in locating materials, making recommendations, and contacting patrons regarding damaged or lost items. Promising applicant will be trained. This is a substitute position with the potential to become a permanent part-time position.
